How to Apply

The Learning Community is part of EnrollRI, a unified application system created by the Rhode Island Department of Education.
At Enroll RI, families can learn about, compare, and apply to charter public schools across the state — all in one place.

When you’re ready to apply:

  1. Visit EnrollRI.org/charter..

  2. Select the “2026-2027 Common Pre-Lottery Application.”

  3. Create an account to log in.

  4. Add your student/child information.

  5. Search for “The Learning Community Charter School.”

  6. Complete and submit your application before the deadline.

🗓️ Application Deadline: Wednesday, March 18, 2026
🎟️ Lottery Date: Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Who Can Apply

We welcome families from Central Falls, Pawtucket, and Providence to apply for available Kindergarten through 8th grade seats.
Space is limited, and enrollment is determined by a random lottery.

The Learning Community is a free, public charter school — there is no tuition and no entrance exam. Every child has an equal chance to be selected.

After You Apply

Once the application window closes, our team will hold a public lottery on April 1, 2025.
Families will receive communication soon after that date with next steps — whether your child has been offered a seat or placed on our waiting list.
