Stephanie Meuse
4TH GRADE (4A)
Stephanie has been a 4th grade teacher at LC since 2013. She holds a BA in English and Early Childhood Education and an MAT in Elementary Education from Northeastern University. Stephanie is also licensed as an MLL teacher and has a passion for learning how to leverage students' home language skills to unlock academic success in the classroom. She strives to bring research into practice, joy into rigor and believes strongly that teaching is an act of social justice. When she isn't teaching, she enjoys reading voraciously, laughing with her husband and raising two amazing humans.

Cassie Jendzejec
4TH GRADE (4B)
Cassie joined The Learning Community team in 2012. Prior to coming to The Learning Community, Cassie worked with English for Action facilitating ESOL courses for women and at the Wolf School as an in-house substitute. She has a varied background in community and economic development including work in education in Nepal and India as well as work with community agencies in Massachusetts, Georgia, and Maine. Cassie has a degree in International Studies from Colby College and a MAT from Roger Williams University. When not teaching, Cassie enjoys dancing with The Extraordinary Rendition Band, community organizing, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children.

Sara Echeverria
4TH GRADE (4C)
Sara graduated from Roger Williams University with her B.A in Elementary Education in 2022. Currently, she attends Rhode Island College and is studying to get her M.Ed in Literacy. Sara was born in California and was raised by Guatemalan parents. She has now lived in Rhode Island for over ten years! Sara believes in the success of all students and believes that it is the educator's responsibility to create a community that fosters learning. In her free time, Sara enjoys playing pickleball, going on walks, and spending time with her friends and family. She is also learning to play the drums!
