Dear Learning Community,
We will hold our annual Summer Institute August 11-22, 2008. Below are logistical details and the current draft agendas for each team. As always, your thoughts and feedback has greatly improved these agendas! Thank you!
Attire: Casual, comfortable clothing is the norm. We may go on a walking tour one or two of the days, so wear comfortable sneaks or shoes as well. Details will be announced closer to the start of the institute in our annual summer newsletter which is mailed to your home.
Food: We provide breakfast each day. The whole team has lunch together the first day “on the school.” All other days, lunch is “on your own.” Some folks bring lunch from home and some walk to nearby lunch places.
Schedule: The Institute is eight days for current team members and 10 days for new team members who attend 2 orientation days. The first and last day of the full institute (Monday the 11th and Thursday the 21st) are Whole Team Days that focus on collegiality and family engagement across all grade levels and teams. Location: We will be meeting in three different locations across the two week period.
